About the Fairman-Adams Project

The Fairman-Adams Project is a non profit organization founded by former Dallas Cowboy and Pittsburgh Steeler Flozell Adams in memory of his late mother, Rachel Fairman Adams.

An alumnus of Michigan State University, Flozell lost his mother to breast cancer his Junior  year in college.  Upon retiring from the NFL, he is now dedicating his time to the fight against this disease that has claimed the lives by donating proceeds from The Fairman-Adams Project.  With proceeds that are generated, The Fairman-Adams Project sponsors women who are unable to afford a mammogram or biopsy.  With the help of the Moncrief Cancer Institute, both The Fairman-Adams Project and the Moncrief Institute join together to help with the prevention of breast cancer that had claimed the lives of so many.
